I'd like to check out the bible study tools and faith toolkit
My goal here is to bring people back to Jesus Christ, our Savior. Why?
"For god so loved the world, that He gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already because he has not believed in the name of the 'the only Son of God'. " John 3: 16-18
I'm not talking about organized religion as much as I am referring to accepting Jesus as your personal Savior, repenting and rebuking your sins, and being born-again in your faith. So that you can create a personal relationship with Jesus. With Jesus, you will find peace. Notice I did not say an easy life. Christians often face challenges and criticism. But that's okay, and honestly, even Jesus said to expect that.
" If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they followed My word, they will follow yours also. " - John 15:18-20
Why now?
The Bible discusses how our Savior will return someday. While none of us know exactly when that will be, He did give us some clues about how we may determine the time is getting close. And friends, it appears that we could be living in the End Days.
I know that to many, this is going to sound nuts. Matthew 24 explains what to expect, and I have to say that it seems pretty clear that there is an urgency to accept Jesus as your Savior before it's too late. The Enemy has been really busy nowadays trying to derail anyone from considering getting on #TeamJesus.
Jesus said "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly." --John 10:10 But time is getting shorter to make it on the roster. You don't want to be here when God's wrath is meted out during the Tribulation. You will have until Jesus returns to make your choice. After that, well, things are not going to be good for you.
Don't let the Enemy dictate your eternity. As one catchy T-shirt said "Don't miss Heaven because of the world!"
